It is my passion to be able to support and provide a supportive and compassionate environment to enhance a client's journey with self-actualization and mental health improvements. I enjoy providing unconditional positive regard, solution focused therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to assist you with making improvements, changes and meeting goals that you want within your life.

I am originally from South Florida and graduated from Nova Southeastern University. I am of Colombian descent and understand the influence of hispanic culture and also consider myself culturally diverse and supportive of all individuals and their interpersonal goals.

FAQs—

Who do you primarily work with?

I enjoy supporting adults experiencing relationship stress or concerns, anxiety, depression, perfectionism and setting high and unrealistic expectations of themselves. I also enjoy supporting men and masculinity issues that they may be experiencing. And as a military spouse, I also understand the culture and difficulties that come with having significant time separated from our loved ones and the mental pressure that comes along with the commitment of the military.

A bit more about me

I consider myself goal oriented, focused and motivated. I want to be able to support you within your mental health  journey and get you feeling whole so you can enjoy things that are most important to you within your life. I believe that individuals have the capacity to change their thinking and make adjustments with the use of therapy and supportive interventions. My directive yet supportive approach will allow us to connect and make significant enhancements for you to meet your goals.

When I am not providing therapy or working I enjoy spending time with my Golden Retriever Axe, engaging in karaoke with my family and friends and learning and focusing on fitness and nutrition. I also love traveling and adventuring and spending time at the beach.

"You don't have to get stuck in a negative experience. You don't have to be a victim to external events, or internal emotions. You can use your mind to take charge of how you feel, and how you act."
